Strawberry and Chia Jam

Natural jam is delicious! This superfood recipe cuts out the sugar and preservatives many commercial jams have, whilst boosting energy and omega-3 intake with the addition of Radiance Chia Seeds

2 cups strawberries – cleaned and chopped
1 cup boiling water
1/4 cup of Radiance® Chia Seeds
1/2 cup honey or an alternative sweetener of your choice

  1. Place all ingredients into a saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly as the chia seeds burn on the bottom of the pot very easily.
  2. Keep stirring until the mixture has reduced by half and has thickened. It will not be as thick as jam, but it will definitely thicken.
  3. Pour into a clean glass jar and allow to cool for 1 hour. Place in the fridge overnight to continue cooling.
  4. Once set, serve on light rye toast with a scrape of butter or coconut oil.
